Love is an adventure and it wouldn't be that without its unique challenges, triumphs, trials, and relentless commitment to your spouse. Love is an adventure on its own which is why I believe that your wedding day should be enjoyed exactly how you see fit with vendors you can trust to love, support, and accept you like family or better. Whether you're a gay or lesbian couple, a couple of mixed faiths, or even a heterosexual couple who just wants to do the whole marriage thing your way (take me for example)-- I support you. I happily photograph any couple; my only requirement is that you're crazy in love and are looking to have a good time on your wedding day.
When my husband and I got married, we opted to have a small, intimate wedding . This allowed us to really focus on each other and our vows, preparing to enter the union of marriage.
While we chose not to have all the bells and whistles of a traditional wedding, we made sure to have a photographer. I highly value photos and the concrete memories they serve as. I've always enjoyed going to my great-grandmother's home, flipping through albums, feeling the corner of the pages as I'd turn them, and glancing up at framed portraits on her walls. Though we age and move on, nothing else serves so vivid a reminder than a treasured moment in photo form.
